Playa Brasilito’s sand has a dull, grey colour. That’s the main reason that nobody - neither locals nor tourists - uses this beach and instead chooses to walk the 10 minutes to marvellous Playa Conchal with its white sands. On your way to Conchal stop...More

I came here twenty years ago, exactly in 1999 and I found the people of Brasilito very friendly and hard working. I will say the beach is beautiful black sand with three restaurants and two surf breaks. One of the most beautiful spots is Punta...More

Brasilito beach was pretty cool. It had a very jungle feel. It was another beach that we explored with our ATVs. It was secluded without many tourists and the mountains made you feel as if you were somewhere completely different. I loved that we had...More

As I see it, this is the least touristy beach in this area. It neighbors Playa Conchal to the south and Playa Flamingo to the north. Both are hopping with tourists. Playa Brasilito is empty. It is a beautiful place to walk and or ride...More

Run-down, dirty beach with hypodermic needles and condoms lying around. Also has open drainage running directly into the ocean from a nearby shanty town. Pity it has so much potential. Avoid it for now.

We have driven all over Costa Rica and my husband and I hated this place, luckily we were just driving through. Extremely dirty, locals were trying to get us the pay for parking at the beach, and my husband was approached by some guy begging...More

A noisy, boisterous and untidy area; unlike anything we had seen in all of Costa Rica. Maybe OK for the locals, but definitely not for us. Nothing to recommend about this place. Drive 20 minutes south to Playa Grande and you'll be in another world.

I guess that when you go on holidays and the place you stayed at is not what you expected or is simply awful, you will not share it with your friends, on social media, blogs, etc. No, you'll pretend you had a good time! That's...More

To rent a car is unnecessary because a taxi from Liberia airport to Brasilito may cost you $70 for two people. Best Regards Erik García
