Loved the square with the beautiful church and gigantic oxcart. Sarchi is a lovely town. Even the bridges are painted like the oxcarts.

We go to Sarchi around once a year when friends visit and we want to show them around. The church is in the same park as the big oxcart, so it's a nice stop to look around and stretch your legs. The only thing is...More

Church is part of the town square and worth a stop. It is so pretty with impressive wood carvings and chandeliers going down the middle aisle. Stop by for a break from the heat and appreciate the architecture.

Another day, another church. Each one is different. This one is known for it's intricate and well preserved wood carvings. It's worth a quick look.

Its a quick visit but part of the walk thru the main square. We certainly enjoyed it. Think the town was celebrating a holiday because we say a minifair and got to try shredded mango and churros. Yum!

A must see!!! Make Sachí a destination point to visit this town and its beautiful church. Take the time to walk the grounds and go inside to enjoy the solitude and architectural design.

This was a miserable wet day - courtesy of Hurricane Otto - so we did not see in best light. However there is great architectural detailing, and a lovely interior

The steps are a great place for large group photos with the historical church in the background. This is a peaceful area with not a lot of traffic and a view of the huge Oxcart across the street in the park.
