You have to try all of the drinks, including the coco loco! After a week of crazy/active activities, the Baldi hot springs was a great way to relax and unwind.

Stayed here first 2 nights of our trip. The accommodations are in one building, about 4-5 rooms on each floor (less then 30 rooms in total). The walls in the rooms are THIN... (think, we heard the 'old folks' next door talking at the crack...More

They have about 20 hot springs, all very different from the others, and all different temperatures, depending on how close you are to the volcano. The one's closest to the volcano are the hottest, almost too hot, and the one's further away, are more like...More

You really should try to spend all day there to really enjoy all the different springs. We spent several hours to include dinner and had a blast.

We visited as part of a package with a buffet dinner. The dinner was not good a very poor buffet with much of the options already finished. The springs are beautiful but if you're looking for natural and manufactured this is not the place for...More

I love this place. The termales (hot springs) are heated by Volcan Arenal, which is pretty awesome. There was smoke coming out of that thing and everything, it looked like the time that volcano erupted on Gilligan's Island. There is plenty of parking ("free" with...More

These are pools/hot tubs. Not the natural atmosphere we wanted. Tabacon was way better than Baldi, though still not natural. We heard Ecothermales was best for natural hot springs, or go to the free hot springs (check Google Maps). Baldi was an overpriced tourist trap.

This place is beautiful!! Tons of hot spring pools of different temperatures. The top level was my favorite for appearance, but it was too hot for my liking. We stayed in the pool with the main pool bar, waterfall and bridge. It connected with other...More

Our group went down all the slides and they were very safe, and lots of fun. Just use your general judgement - don't do anything you would not do on a slide back home!

I don't think so as we couldn't smell any chlorine, and our skin felt wonderful for days after we visited the springs. One of our favourite parts of the trip!
