The horse ride to the volcano was such a beautiful life experience because of Alan who was an amazing guide. His energy, smile and attention was so enjoyable. We were able to have a volcano mud bath in the lake and we learned so much about the different animals and nature's virtue of the area.

Our guide, William, was amazing and really funny! This was my first time horseback riding and with our guide I felt very comfortable. The stream/ "mud bath" was a lot of fun, too. Defiantly wear a bathing suit! One of the best excursions on our trip to the Arenal area. Highly recommend!

Drove past and called in to find out about the riding and was given straight forward, helpful information. We were able to ride immediately which was a bonus. Had a great ride on very responsive horses which were happy to canter as well as walk. The guide was fun and we highly recommend the riding here. We also asked for... More

The blurb states ride from 0745-1100, I was at my hotel at 1015 (hotel is 15 mins away). A bit short-changed, one might say. I have ridden off and on before, just enough to stay on the horse. The horse was fine, nice polite guide, nice polite ride. After 30mins, I hoped there was going to be some trotting, cantering... More

I was a little apprehensive to spring another chunk of change after leaving the zip line, and I was a bit afraid that I wouldn't enjoy the experience, but it was absolutely fabulous. Can't remember our guides name but he was super and we tipped him accordingly. Very fair price fair price for the experience of riding through a rainforest... More

The horse tour was great. We have two children 7 and 9 that were able to enjoy the tour. It usually runs two hours but we cut it down to one for the sake of time and kids. We got an excellent view of the volcano as well as some local fruit trees. We left with a stalk of sugar... More

We booked a 2 hour horseback ride and that was probably about 1.5 hours too long. Our guide was Diego and it was just my girlfriend and I on the tour. We figured this would make the tour even better because we would get more personalized attention. This was not the case in the slightest. First off, I had never... More
