We loved this low key, restful bird watching opportunity. We spent a lot of time observing birds feeding and then went further afield. Giovanni is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and it was one of our best mornings in Costa Rica. Breakfast at a local soda was part of the trip and that was a really good spot as well. We were... More

We came across this tour by accident when looking for sloths. Giovanni offered a private tour which we were so happy we took. He showed us 3 sloths, poisonous frogs, Jesus Christ lizard and we got to hold a red eyed tree frog. Then he had us follow him to another location where we saw a sloth up close (only... More

Geovanni Bogarin is the best guide in town. He was the third and last tour guide we had, having previously done guided tours of the Arenal Volcano lava flow and the hanging bridges earlier in the week. He was by far the best guide, and his property was the best for viewing frogs, birds, and of course, Sloths! He walked... More

Giovanni and friend picked me up and took me on the adventure of a lifetime. I was the only person on the tour that morning so Giovanni put me on the back of his motorcycle and away we went. We rode around the back roads where he pointed out monkeys, toucans, and sloths. It was the highlight of my time... More

Absolutely loved this tour! Giovani is incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about what he does. He was able to identify all the birds we saw and impersonate their calls. We turned up around 5pm without booking and Giovani was happy to accommodate us. We saw sloths, birds and frogs.

Giovanni picked us uo at our lodge and told us were to go. In the beginning we were a little bit of, beccause we had the idea that guides just points us to the right places, bit we kept looking for the animals we wanted to see. Giovanni was a great guide and not satisfied before we saw a lot... More

Giovanni has recreated a small piece of paradise through 16 years of passion for nature and with a huge effort of planting more than 400 trees in his "little" garden. His knowledge of nature makes him one of the best guides I've ever met. He even has a sloth guarantee.

Giovanni was friendly, informative, and truly loved to teach people about the animals. We saw lots, including 3 sloths! Our kids are 6 & 8, and the trail was easy and safe for them. I highly recommend this as an easy trail for kids. They get to learn about the jungle fairly worry-free.

Genovanni Bogarin is more then a well informed guide. He is able to uniquely connect with nature, and then invites us to share in the experience. He is so knowledgeable that I'm sure he should write a book. And his passion is evident for this beautifully preserved trail and his efforts to make it accessible to everyone. We enjoyed close...
