I found out about Termales Los Laureles on the internet, and I'm glad I did. It's a hot springs/swimming pool park right near several expensive hot springs in La Fortuna, but it's not expensive and not created for tourists. In fact, I think we were...More

We spent the entire day at Los Laureles and we had an extremely good time there between the pools, the hot stream and the meat we grilled. We also got to see a group of toucans hanging out over our rancho!

This is the place where ticos families go if they want to visit some hot springs. It has a waterpark type of theme. I liked the signs posted around the park asking you not to get romantic. Estoy caliente

In La Fortuna, you could spend a lot of money for "Hot Springs experience" OR spend $12 at this place. There are several hot pools with varying temperatures. Kids loved the slides. The place is well-maintained and lockers are available.
