We spent a very satisfying day here. For the low cost of admission, we enjoyed a full day of swimming in cooler pools and basking in various degrees of heat. We ate lunch onsite (can bring your own, or avail of their 'soda'), and made...More

I guess I am spoiled having been to EcoTermales first. It was very fancy and expensive. Los Laureles is more family friendly and a lot less expensive. I paid about $40 for 4 versus, $100 for two (came with a meal). As described by other...More

This place offers 12 pools filled with hot water at various temperatures (up to 60°C). It has as well 3 water slides. The entree ticket cost only 4000c ($7) instead of the $30+ elsewhere in the 5* hotels nearby. The place is enjoyed only by...More

Lots of local families enjoying the heated pools and picnicking on the day grounds. Everyone was having fun. A great place for a family to visit for the day. Not a couples spot.... too much young boisterous joy.

We read about this place online and how it was more local and less touristy and this was very accurate. Not much English spoken by the staff but enough to get by. It cost us about $18 for two of us, there were lots of...More

I found out about Termales Los Laureles on the internet, and I'm glad I did. It's a hot springs/swimming pool park right near several expensive hot springs in La Fortuna, but it's not expensive and not created for tourists. In fact, I think we were...More

We have been bringing groups here for the last six years. The largest group we brought was 46 people. The last time I came (yesterday) there was someone there blasting music so loud, I walked to the furthest point from the music while still within...More
