This was a special night out for us as it was not a typical activity we would normally do but did not want to pass up the experience of a famous La Fortuna hot springs. We went in the evening, the grounds looked lovely softly...More

The nicest thing about this place is the limits they put on the number of visitors (100?) for each session...we visited for an afternoon session and found only about 25 people there. There were 5 pools of varying temps with the top one being fed...More

We spent a few hours at the Ecotermales hot springs and thoroughly enjoyed the clean relaxing pools. It was a bit pricey compared to North American thermals but very clean and relaxing. The water temperature was not a hot as I expected, but good for...More

We enjoyed the springs immensely. The springs were quiet and uncrowded. The cocktails were great. The changing facilities and grounds were well maintained. I would skip the buffet. I was not a fan of traditional food and would have preferred another cocktail over dinner.

Nice area for some relaxation. Pools were clean and relaxing with pretty good drinks. Food was descent.

Nice pools, not crowded because they restrict number of people. A bit inconvenient because of their schedule (10-1, 1-5, 5-10 or something like that).

The springs were nice but we paid way too much money for the showers in the changing room to not have hot water. There were fewer pools than Tabacon but still nice.

Great place to relax after day of hiking and touring. Of the many options for hot springs experience this is a very nice natural experience that is not Kiddie land with a waterpark theme - it is what it says it is - hot springs.

My friend and I went in the evening and it was quite busy but there were some kids as well. I think it is fine, but I would say that it is likely much much busier in the evening from what I hear. Hope that helps.

They are allowed but like I said in my review, it's a place for adults. There are plenty of spots to check out. Some cater to a family atmosphere. This spot is just pools and a bar. Don't let the little one screw up someone... More
