Love this collection. It has a wonderful history in Tuscaloosa. The collection was Jack Warner's and much larger at one time. Located at North River Yacht Club, then near a hotel in North River Residential area. Now the collection is tucked away at "The Westervelt...More

Tuscaloosa Museum of Art. Calling it an art museum is a misnomer, as it’s really an art collection in the Westerveld Company headquarters. But it’s free, and the collection, while small, has some good and some interesting paintings, many by known artists. Highlights include a...More

Located in a lovely building in Tuscaloosa, visitors are often surprised to find a pretty great collection of American Art in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The collection is not what it once was, but Jack Warner's collection is still worth seeing.

A very nice collection of mostly American artists. Jack Warner, of Gulf States Paper fame, built and filled the museum with things he loved. There is a lovely Japanese inspired garden. A little gem, be sure to see it.
