Pretty cool how you can scope out the ruins of a burned-down building, which also happen to look like ancient greek ruins. Kind of cool to wander around and take cool pictures.

A park of our Alabama History, one of Alabama capital most third grader does not know this. It a wonderful place for a picnic in the band stand or in the old capital on a rock. What a treasure we have here in Tuscaloosa

I recently visited a week ago and took pictures of my nephew and boys! My boys loved climbing around also. We’ve also had a picnic here in the past. I plan to come multiple times a year to make pictures of my boys here.

Not a long walk from downtown Tuscaloosa, beautiful Capital ruins and a lovely park. Great place to take pictures or take some snacks for a picnic.

The little one enjoyed. She could run around and climb. It is definitely nothing special though. Nice corner for a sunday afternoon.

It's an open park. No gates or anything. I assume that it is open as long as the sun is up. I don't think it would be much of an attraction in the dark anyway.
