This is one of the best planned botanical areas anywhere. We visited in early June, perhaps not a peak time for flowers, but the grounds were gorgeous with a lot of color. We debated whether to tour the Bellingrath home and we were so glad...More

We visited the gardens on a warm, muggy day in late May. The rose garden was in bloom and there were many varieties, but they looked somewhat wilted. The signage at the rest of the garden was very helpful in directing us around, but overall,...More

Wonderful garden area from the Old South. Both water gardens and roses along with native plants. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's rather expensive and there could be better interpretive signage, but we'll worth the afternoon visit. Do try to plane for a good weather...More
