I pulled up on a Thursday and it looked closed. I’m so glad I got out and walked up to the door and found it open! Filled with lots of documents, old tools, fire trucks, caboose, clothing, medical instruments, etc.

Historically interesting, well laid out, much memorabilia. Takes you from the Civil War to the Civil Rights. Shows you the trials & tribulations so many have gone through. Learned a lot.

Like most things in Selma, you come here for the history - lots to learn about time through the Civil War to the Civil Rights movement - worth seeing.

The Old Depot Museum has little to do with trains although their is an old caboose in the backyard. There are many pictures and artifacts over a hundred years old displayed around the museum.
