I went here at dawn off-season and could just walk through (no queue at all). Turned out to be the perfect end of my Shanghai trip. The elevator up is a great experience and on the observation desk the view is just breathtaking. Bizarre to look down on other super-high buildings as if they are miniatures (even though they sometimes are a respectable 200m-400m)... It's advisable not to do this on your first day because then there is little to recognise. Might be a bit cheesy here and there, but still, you've never seen anything like this.…

So it is Covid19 but with our masks on we visited the Shanghai Tower. It was a foggy day but overall it was a good experience. Very nice to experience the second tallest building in the world. The elevator ride was fast and my son enjoyed the speed of it. There is a lounge for coffee (119)and also a VR place on the 118 floor. We just spend about an hour there and another 30 mins in the gift shop lol.…

What a fun and exhilarating experience going up and down the elevator of one of the tallest building in the world. The views are breathtaking.
