We were a group of 6 friends. We waited 30 minutes outside. One of the bouncer, black, was pretentious. As we walked away he tried to pick a fight with one of my friend. Go to Le Baron if you are looking to be treated...More

This place is stuffy and shallow. We reserved a table and dropped about 2k USD expecting to have a good time sending off a friend but nope, apparently that wasn’t enough money because after about half hour the staff started being really nasty to us...More

Don’t be taken in by the people trying to get in as you should be trying to get out . Ask yourself why do they employ so many bouncers it is not for your own safety it is to make sure they extract any money...More

Don’t waste your time. We had a reservation and were totally ignored by the incredibly rude and arrogant ‘bouncer’ at the door once we arrived who claimed we were not on the list. Spend your money somewhere where you’ll be welcomed, this place is trying...More

This is undoubtedly the worst nightspot I've visited in Shanghai, and possibly even the world. Rude staff, overpriced drinks, iTunes playlist quality of music, and very crowded (somehow!). Do yourself a favour and drink elsewhere on Donghu Lu which is actually a very good street...More

Classy with all the illuminati red eyes haha, the decor is cool. it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the music. Plenty of celebrities also, CBA players frequent the joint. Drinks are not that expensive and worth the money, you can get beers...so cool.

Really???? A very dated “ disco” with obscenely overpriced drinks with the most “ uncool” crowd, think Macy’s buyers being cool in Shanghai! Enough said?

Le Baron is located on Donghu Lu. If you go there, get prepared to wait for a while before going inside. Make sure you know someone or make a reservation if you want to avoid the queue. Do not go before midnight, as people usually...More

Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly
governed by the French in Shanghai, the "French
Concession" of today is an amorphous neighborhood that
is a favorite of the city's foreign residents. While
it is mostly within the Xuhui district, residents will
sometimes include parts of Jing'an and Luwan in their
mental maps of the Former French Concession. The area
seems frozen in time, characterized by quiet,
