Delightfully spacious and well-lit aquarium filled with a great selection of Asian fish. The highlight is the impressive tunnels where you under the tanks and surrounded by fish.

The Aquarium is huge. Many kind of rare species fish can be seen here. Kids under 100cm enter for free. Strollers can bring along inside the Aquarium.

It is said that this aquarium the longest tunnel in Asia and of course it's a must to visit. Lots of sea creatures to see compare to Jakarta. Next to the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower

My first time in Shanghai and there is SO MUCH to SEE and DO! Visiting the aquarium was at the top of our list! Not disappointed in the least! Totally worth a visit! You won't be disappointed....unless you already live in the ocean.

There are different issues at play here. The aquarium itself, is just okay. It's honestly nothing special, though it does have some excellent pieces. The Jellyfish part, the overfishing part and the tunnel are all quite good. Everything else is.....as I said, nothing special. Biggest...More

Not the best aquarium, but far from the worst. There are seals, penguins, turtles, sharks, jellyfish and lots of other miscellaneous fish. Good for young kids that are a bit sick of other types of site seeing. I recommend going on a week day because...More

We visited during the autumn festival and the aquarium was slightly chaotic. People pushing everywhere. The displays are good but you can see the aquarium has been around for sometime and some displays look dated. Otherwise enjoyable and worth a visit. Restaurant doesn't look too...More

It depends upon your own interest in fishes and other marine animals. But at the least you would need one hour, which can stretch up to five hours.

.The price per adult is 160 yuan. You can spend your time better in Shanghai than visiting this aquarium.
