Temple is intersting to see, location is amazing - in the middle of high rise buildings and lots of traffic - prestigious temple. The surrounding with little shops and small restaurants are nice to visit.

This is a significantly more 'bling' temple than any other I have seen in China, reminding me of some of the golden roofs and pagodas in Thailand. The rear pagoda and exterior statues are incredibly ornate and the main hall, containing a large Buddha and...More

This temple is well preserved and maintained, if anything it looks too clean. It hardly seems old! Slap bang in the middle of a busy part of the city.

The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple,
while the main artery of excitement and entertainment
is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French
Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign
residents but displays a more commercial character.
Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and
trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing
