Most visitors will certainly leave this house-turned-museum with a better understanding of the role and times that Dr Sun Yat-sen lived through and connect this with what was going on elsewhere in the world. The critical role of Dr Sun's wife and political partner is...More

A very worthwhile visit to the museum-home of an important man. The extended museum building and the home add up to give an impression of the man, his home life and his work, if only but a brief introduction to the impact he had on...More

The highly regarded Sun Yat-sen and his wife lived in this fine residence for about seven years up to 1925. It was provided by loyal Chinese emigrants. While here he produced his seminal works for China's progress and development and enunciated his key related policies....More

There is a big sign at the main road to direct you to walk along a smaller road. It is not very easy to find but look out for a primary school. The place is just next to the primary school. The visit is not...More

There was an ante-structure that described the relationship between Sun Yat Sen and the Canadian Chinese (did you know that his aide de camp was Canadian, and white -- and that the Canadian Chinese raised the funds to purchase this house in Shanghai), which was...More

Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly

it is mostly within the Xuhui district, residents will
sometimes include parts of Jing'an and Luwan in their
mental maps of the Former French Concession. The area
