The contrast between the old and new is striking . The new financial district was built over the last 30 years . The second tallest building in the world is located here at 632 meters . The east side is old colonial Shanghai . It...More

WE had the pleasure to walk along the Bund in the daytime then take a cruise at night. It is amazing to see all the boats, activity and buildings along the Bund. Do not miss it if you are in Shanghai

Fascinating area of colonial Shanghai and other areas of China. I couldn't walk its entire length but what I saw made me a little ashamed of this era when European and US employed 'gunboat diplomacy'!

Another experience not to be missed and over the road from The Bund so can't really miss it! Again like The Bund can get very crowded as its very popular. Try to avoid both during National holidays

Awesome. Shanghai's waterfront is awesome. Maybe the best one in the world. This mixture of buildings and architectonical styles is absolutely enticing. Just walk around and try to have a look from very different point of views

the bund is pretty cool, but the varied architecture that makes up the buildings along the skyline is the highlight for me. There are not only tall ones, but there are also ones that have amazing design and materials. The exhibit shows off these features.

Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has
