I came here by metro rather than booking a tour. This is smaller than the other towns to get too but very beautiful and full of great shops that sell great souvenirs and Chinese merchandise which made a nice change from the huge shopping malls...More

If you don't have time to visit the places further out of Shanghai. This town could be a quick and short visit to see an old town around Shanghai. Don't expect too much. There is a temple and a very touristy street.

Qibao is all about the food which makes it an easy option by subway to take yourself on a food tour and enjoy the sights. There are also local craft, pearls and toys for kids in amongst it all. Apparently very crowded on the weekends...More
