The shark dive was awesome, but everything Else was a mess. I went diving in february, and took My Advanced Open Water certification. It is now november, and I still havent received My certification. Everytime I contact Them, they just say they will look into it and nothing hoppens, which is very frustrating, because I paid to get certified. Which were just one of the issues I had with Them. Overall the communication were just hopeless. If u go there for a single dive, its fine, but for a certification, go to another place!

We just finished our diving experience with this Scuba company and have to say we are very pleased with our experience. We can still be considered fairly new divers and found this company very accommodating--adjusting to each divers' level of experience. We did a 2 day package that started the first day with the famous shark dive (11/20/23) and then followed by the soft coral dive (11/21/23). We informed the dive crew re: our issues with equalizing and buoyancy. They made sure to give us refresher tips and kept an eye on us during the dives. We felt comfortable and safe. And due to their support, we had an amazing 4 dives. Great experience!

Still the best dive experience I've had.
Great crew mixed between professionalism and friendliness.
I got my PADI licence here and I can't thank the team enough for there help!
After I got my licence I had the chance to dive with the sharks.
I'll be coming back to Fiji purely to dive with this team again!

Shark feeding was excellent. Crew are very professional and felt safe at all times.
When making the booking we were told we could borrow a go pro on board to take a photo whilst diving as we didn't have one and that buying one wouldn't be necessary.
Upon embarking the dive boat we were told the staff member who owns the go pro was away that day and no go pro was available.
Later in the dive a go pro appeared for two Fiji locals who had a go pro and needed a battery. The crew were happy to service the locals.
We dived with aqua trek again on their soft coral dive when the videographer advised that be left the go pro on board in case any one needed it. Unfortunately it would appear they aren't happy to accommodate international guests. Make sure you bring your own go pro!
Otherwise great experience but wouldn't recommend to other tourists. Seems like a locals only vibe.

Where do I start. One of the most surreal experiences I have ever had. Highly recommend doing the shark dive and highly recommend going with AquaTrek.
The dive masters on board were incredible, so friendly, helpful and made the whole experience fun. They made me feel so safe during each dive.
They were knowledgeable, answering every question I had. They took care of the equipment, all you had to do was step on the boat and everything was ready to go.
After the first dive they sorted the swapping of tanks and prepped all of my gear.
They were calm and their instructions in and out of the water were clear.
Could not recommend them highly enough!
Thank you so much for providing me one of the most epic moments of my life!

Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient staff. We did our padi open water course with them and afterwards also went on the shark dive which was the best experience we’ve had since the start of our travels 3 months ago.

Such an amazing experience! We did 6 days of diving with 3 days of shark diving. From the moment we checked in with Wais at the dive shop, we felt warm and welcome. He’s hilarious and very accommodating. Eddie was our captain-so soft spoken but loved to have 1 on 1 conversations. He was also very helpful when getting in and out of the water. Really appreciated him. Las-where do I begin-just a wonderful person. He really helped my friend who was having some problems and he really made me feel comfortable on the shark dives. I truly appreciate him. Fabi-helped me with my camera-my sd card was full and my reader wasn’t working-he helped me get everything transferred and he was fun in the water too. Loved Little Eddy-shark feeder-helped get some good action shots-Manz, Apy, Wase, and Mitchie-I didn’t get to spend as much time with but they all made an impact on my experience. They all are wonderful-Vinaka vaka levu

Two shark dives which were the pinnacle of our trip to Fiji. One of the best scuba diving experiences in our life. Totally worth it, equipment clean and reliable, 6 dive masters, photographer plus captain for a group of 9, we felt very secure and scuba was surreal. They have more than 20 years in the business, knowledge and great communication

AMAZING experience with Aquatrek!! We did 2 coral dives and 2 shark dives with Aquatrek and the team were so friendly and professional from booking the dives to returning after. The shark dive is an experience to remember and we would recommend it to any shark loving diver. The difference with Aquatrek is that their shark dive is longer as it’s only 18m deep. They are the original and longest running operator for BEQA shark dives and we would recommend choosing them!

hi. I'm considering going for the shark encounter but I have no experience what so ever with diving... is it possible?

Manu, contact them directly they are very helpful. You need certification. This dive can be quite full on depending on the species of sharks which arrive and the current at the time. It is a 20m dive which is max depth for a new diver.

I think it may depend on time of year, with tides and such. We were there in April. Met at the boat area at 9 am. the boat ride to the dive is only 10 minutes. the dive is roughly 45-50 minutes. Come up for the surface interval (which you stay there in the same place for the 2nd dive), then do the next dive. Make sure you make reservations, as the boat was full every day we were there. You are back by 1 pm, ash
