Riding a part Silver Comet was on my bucket list. It was all beautiful. The trail is well maintained. From time to time there would be markings on the pavement for repairs. It is wonderful for walkers or bikers!

If you're a rider, or a walker, or just want to enjoy the scenery, it's perfect. It goes all the way into Georgia, and down through Alabama.

Combined with the Silver Comet, you can ride 96 continuous miles on way. Beautiful, mostly shady path with wonderful parks and great stops in little friendly towns. Would recommend to anyone who likes to be outside.

Converted railway that provides safe , flat cycling from Anniston Alabama to the Georgia border. Connects to the Silver comet which goes on to Metro Atlanta. Good for walkers, beginners or advanced cyclists.

Walk, jog,or ride a bicycle. This trail is all about how fast you want to go. Man built this adventure but God created the scenes. Alone or with a crowd, there are so many sights to see you might want to have a camera.

I love the Ladiga. I ran my first half marathon on it and ride bikes on it at least once a month. Beautiful trail and well maintained

Love this trail! Flat as a fritter and uncrowded. We have been several times and biked various distances. You can do an out and back from several points. Just make sure you can get back to where you started!! Or you can do what we did yesterday. I rode support in the car, meeting up with my riders at several... More

The CLT is a great escape route. It is three hours (or less) to the Archway at the GA state line from Weaver. The tour will reduce stresses and anxieties because you have to focus directly on getting to the turn-around by using your own muscle power. It is paved and flat since it was an historic railroad line. It... More

My wife and I rode yesterday, weather was great and great scenery, we parked at Piedmont Al, they have restrooms. Everything was really clean. We rode to the Ga. Line from Piedmont, it was great.

While in Talladega AL for the NASCAR race, I rode a short ten mile section of the Chief LadIga Trail (Piedmont AL towards the Georgia border) I plan to go back k in the fall and bike more of it. Gentle grade on a paved trail through absolutely gorgeous countryside. If you need to rent a bike go to the... More
