The waterfront park is nice...we took our dogs there to splash around a bit. But while the area to walk is quite long, it is difficult to negotiate around docks and obstacles. We gave up after just a few hundred yards.
Waterfront Park on Canal Road in Orange Beach, AL is nestled along Wolf Bay with beautiful views. It is so relaxing to stroll on the pier or along Wolf Bay. Sit in a swing and feel your stress level diminish. It is a must visit...More
This is a beautiful park for a walk, a children's playground, or to walk your dogs. It is well maintained and has lots of parking. The only problem was a number of guests allowing their dogs to frolic off-leash. This made it difficult to walk...More
My kids LOVED this park. It's huge and really cool - we don't have anything like this at home. It is a mulch park so I suggest gym shoes over sandals. There are pretty walking trails at the property too.
This park is easy to find and has a large playground for children. They are currently renovating part of it so a portion was closed but there is still quite a bit of it open. We also walked the pier on the wharf and it...More
Have been to the dog park many times, and it keeps getting better, with more improvements every time. If your dogs like to swim, this is a great environment for them! Training obstacles, benches, some shade, a good diversion.

You can get bait a lot of different places on your way to the peer. You can also get bait and rent equipment right on the peer. I don't know how much it costs, but you can rent it. There will be lots of people going out to fish and they all have different kinds of equipment and bring their own bait. I would ask one of them where they get their bait before buying it on the peer. You can ask them about equipment as well. Good luck fishing.
