Toured the museum with my sister. The gentleman working today told us that there was once a German POW camp in Opelika during WWII. He showed us the case display with the authentic Nazi flag and shortwave radio. Our tour was fascinating!

Great place to learn and enjoy the history of this area. Exhibits about textile mills and local industry are especially interesting and unique. Admission is free.

What an interesting place! A hidden gem in Historic Opelika. This museum had many rooms filled with items ranging from manufacturing, military, dolls, clothing, and more.

We went to the Museum during an open evening in Opelika. There are a few things of interest to look at, but I found myself glad I had not paid an entry fee. Opelika boasts beautiful buildings, a town centered around a rail round, and...More

Absolutely loved it here. The owner of the museum i think he was, An old men was very kind and generous. His son was very helpful too. He gave us a tour and some gift cards. The History of alabama is actually very colorful.
