Absolutely beautiful building. It is amazing how well kept this Cathedral is. Located within walking distance of many of the downtown restaurants and hotels. Open during the day for visitors. One of the marvels of Mobile.

The Frernch style, from the marble floors with brass motifs, the incredible sitting arrangements, the Saints and that wonderful golden ceiling, gorgeous vitrals, this Cathedral downtown Mobile is a very special place of worship.

Spent about 30 minutes here enjoying the quiet and beauty. A nice place to reflect and pray for the victims of Harvey and Irma.

This Cathedral is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. You can feel the peace and tranquility upon entering. A must see for anyone!

We found Mobile, as a whole - a very difficult city to navigate (mostly because of the signage & one-way streets) -so had a hard time finding the Cathedral. There are spaces to park around the small park in front (with parking meters). Very worth...More

Yes you can. It is locked at night but open each day. Masses are usually in the morning and noon on weekdays and a Mass on Sunday. There are funerals and weddings from time to time also but to again answer your question you... More
