Very peaceful gardens. Nice Japanese maple garden , koi pond and scent garden. Unusual azalea breeds with wonderful scent. Considering April is sort of a between season, it was still lovely.

It was 45 F when we walked the garden, which was a little cool for us out-of-towners. We had the gardens to ourselves at 9 AM. There are lovely paths to meander among azaleas and rhododendrons, that were past peak. The small Japanese garden has...More

The paths are well laid out that take you throughout the many varied plantings. It is obvious that gardeners who care about nature are doing a great job to enhance the grounds.

Stop with Jax the dog, out of season and after the large frost that cane they in January . Nice trails, concrete sidewalks and well kept. Thanks

Visited here as evacuees from Irma. Met the ED at the gate and she welcomed us with open arms, waived admission (although we donated the amount), gave us ice water and invited us to "just relax and foget about Irma for awhile". Just what we...More

From their web site. "Pets are allowed at the Gardens as long as they remain on a leash. Also, please clean up after your pet. There are several pet stations throughout the Gardens and the Longleaf Forest."
