WOW! The USS ALABAMA is breathtaking. The shear size of it is a site to see. The self guided tour is awesome. I felt so grateful reading about the selfless men and women who served during WWII. The tour will take a couple of hours....More

My husband, teen daughter and I toured the USS Alabama. Wow! What an amazing visit. It truly is a floating city. It was interesting to learn where the ship has been, how it operates and see a glimpse into the lives of those who served...More

Great place to visit for family of all ages... Ours included 3-86 years old. Equally as fascinating fir different reasons. Surprised at how long we stayed even in the swealtering temperatures. We exceeded the allotted 45 minutes.

For some travelers through south Alabama, it may not seem necessary to actually visit the park and the Battleship Alabama. After all, Alabama's silhouette is already clearly visible against the skyline as one crosses the bay. However, I will never forget the moment I first...More

Very interesting and fun, but requires a lot of walking and step climbing on the ship. It might be difficult for some senior citizens and small children. But it's worth the exercise if you enjoy historical things.

I didn't see any service animals, but I would think that they would be allowed. The stairways are very tight, so be careful.

I agree a stroller would be next to impossible. I would wait a few years as an 8 year old will find it impressive.
