This mosque was an embodiment of the presence of various community since Melaka became a trading post centuries ago. The architecture of the mosque contained elements from other ethnic communities. Good for foreign tourist to have a closer look. But please bear in mind it is a mosque and be sensitive.

Just check and go in when you are passing by. It is not a must go, but OK to visit when you are strolling through China town

You can complete your tour of this mosque, opened in 1748, under an hour because of it small size. But if like me, who collects old tiles, I can stay here for hours just to admire the details of the tiles used generously in and around this mosque. The staircase and the columns that greet you at the entrance are... More

This was a nice mosque to go and visit. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, as it is not on your way to anywhere, but if you have time, worth a visit. Simply mosque.

Liked this masjid as it has lovely architecture that is not typical of the usual uniformity of mosques , this sort of architecture should be utilised nowadays.

In the heart of Chinatown is the Kampung Kling Mosque. It retains its original design after being rebuilt from wood (1748) to brick (1872). Dress appropriately and take off your shoes. The old chandelier is particularly lovely.

If you have the time, and it's not prayer time, stop in. They have cover ups for ladies and men. It's right there on Harmony St.

This small mosque is open sided. Like many mosques it is quite plain and simple but worth looking at if passing this way.

The Kampung Kling Mosque is situated at Jalan Tukang Emas, .In this area one can admire the Hindu temple and Chinese temple in the same street. The original structure built by Indian Muslim traders in 1748 was a wooden building and in 1872, it was rebuilt in brick.
