This is the centre of Melaka. With pretty much everything available to eat and shop here. Great lively atmosphere esp in the evening

Possibly the main draw of this small little city which was lined by 2 rows of old historical shophouses selling their wares. Of late, many hippy restaurants and cafes sprang up replacing the old shops, each beckons you in with their unique character. One still can find traditional savories that had been there for decades. Is a must visit to... More

The Jonker Walk night market is nearly always packed to the brim! Be prepared for an assault to your senses in every way possible! It was so busy, with so many things happening and so many things to try. Go for the Cheap Shopping and Eats!

We enjoyed to watching the Chinese style houses around Jonker Street. The roads in the area are narrow, majority of the houses are well maintenance. There are several restaurants in the area, unfortunately, not many of those are open late.

Jonker Walk is the centre of pretty much everything in Melaka central. From Friday to Sunday the streets are shut down from around 18:00 till midnight and tables and chairs appear for diners to take in great food and the lively atmosphere. Just about anything you can want to buy is on sale in the night market atmosphere. Enjoy!

A trip down memory lane! Worth looking at the things sold there but be ready with fans and be aware of your items. It's packed like sardin in a can if you visit during Malaysia holidays especially and traffic surrounding is real bad. Good luck if you drive around.

This is a must-visit for someone who's never been to Malacca. Many of the shops sell the same thing (souvenirs and clothing). Even the designs have not changed since my last visit some 5 years ago. The weekend night market adds color to the street but avoid it if you dislike crowds. The street is lined with food stalls (like... More

It was not very crowded when we visited it in Friday night. From the entrance until end of the road is about 1km walk. Not as big as Ladies Market in Hong Kong, but that was what I like it better. You can smell so many flavour around... From traditional food such pineapple tart to fried crackers until fresh fruits... More

I would recommend to come down during the weekend when the night market opens, that's when the street really comes alive with activity. Lots of street stalls open and you can buy traditional snacks/desserts/street food. It can get rather crowded at times, but I guess that shows how popular the place is.

A good place to walk around during night time. They have lots of snack, food and souvenir. It's a not bad night market, but can't compare to Thailand's night market
