A good stamp museum needs more than just a collection of stamps, and this museum offered nothing extra. The displays were good, but I wanted to know more about the history of the postal system.

My first time to visit Malaysia Stamp Museum although I'm from Malaysia. I'm great that I spent few hours in this place. It's interesting to know the stamp's history and designs for every states in Malaysia. For example, the first stamps with the name 'Malacca' , 1948 , stamp issue was to celebrate the Royal Silver Wedding of King George... More

Minimal entrance fee into a fascinating world of stamps and mail. Stamps also give an insight into history, culture, arts, nature and many other aspects of a country and society. This museum has many stamps as well as providing information on the types of stamps and printing process. Stamps that display interesting plants and animals to commemorating significant events. Don't visitigmnf this musium if you are not interested with postmail process. You only can see the collection of Malaysia's stamps in here. Itsbonly waste your time if you are not really like about postmail and anything about mails stuffs.

It is quite a cheap museum with a decent collection of various stamps and the history of stamps. If you are a stamp collector or want to emphasize the history of snail mail to your children, you can stop here.

Well if you're not that passionate about stamps, I guess this is just a waste of time. It's not much to see but just stamps. Quite a lot of collection.

This small museum is a must visit for philatelist and stamp collectors. The collection include mostly Malaysian stamps from the British colonial era as well as some foreign stamps. There is a gift shop that sells stamps and entrance fee is minimal.

Ok- the place is quite run down ... but if it's the history of stamps and postal services in Malaysia you are seeking then the place is worth a trip.. You need about 2 hours max to cover the museum which is already in the centre of the tourist destinations in Malacca. Many rare stamps, post boxes and Mr Postman write... More

stamps before the opening displayed and no new exhibit after the year of opening. Some amenities need fixing. Good if you are interested in stamps.

Interesting if you like stamps, not much else. There was some history/stories around the stamps, but mostly it just had stamps through the years.
