It was a good training ground for other mountains. The climb up and down took 8 hours. You need to carry around 3 litre of water. Bring some fruits or sweet snacks. The more enjoyable part was climbing on ladders and using ropes. I think KFC (Killing Fitness Center) was the memorable part of this trek. It was a good... More

This was my second time hike mount Ophir and the trail is still as hard as the previous hike. There are 8 checkpoints and the hardest start from the KFC (killer for climbers) till the peak but as u reached at the peak, u will have a bright smile on your face, take as many photo as the view is... Good nature trekking park along Malaysia's legendary mountain. Access is much easier through the Gunung Ledang Resort near Ayer Panas, Tangkak

The trek is is pretty awesome , it took us 6hr to reach the summit point and another 4hr to reach down. The trek involves very steep steps, roap climbing, rock climbing, ladders etc.. not a easy one for beginners and intermediate can finish it with little stretch.view from the top of the mountain is pretty nice. If you are... More

It was a good hiking experience in fact first time hiking with so many ladders and ropes. I would rate this hike as intermediate. We had a very good guide by the name of Din who was very helpful and knowledgeable. As for the resort here we stayed at the Dorms for RM20 per person per night, nothing spectacular but... More

First all, i think the place is great for nature lover, i cant comment much on the trek route, im pretty sure its awesome. Although i was a little disappointed with the chalet and water fall. The waterfall really isnt the best, in comparision to Kota Tinggi, Kota Tinggi is way ahead. Im sure trekking is fun. But just not... More

We did the track with a group of 6 people. One guide was assigned to guide us around and the lunch was provided by the nature reserve people. We also booked 4 cabins to spend the night before the track at the nature reserve area. For booking we first booked via the website of the nature reserve and where told... More

We registered at the Taman Negara Gunung Ledang Office at early in the morning. We have made earlier arrangements with local guide Fakhrul (whom we highly recommend) to bring us up to Kolam Gajah and the Twin Falls. The hike was not easy, but was very much worth it. The missus who does 5km brisk walks/jogs regularly also felt it... More
