I really like these trails. There are multiple marked trails available to hike with varying levels of difficulty. You can make a hike as easy or difficult as you like using combinations and variations of the trails here. The scenery is beautiful! There are normally...More

Literally in the middle of subdivisions and easy access and parking. A beautiful view and multiple trails to hike. Very intentional on the cities part to make this a pleasant experience. Restrooms, pavilions, trash cans and excellent signage. It is a wonderful place!

I love this hike. The rocks are so beautiful and it is so close to my home. It is quite strenuous is some spots but so worth it.

Excellent place for hiking. Very near neighborhoods but once you get on the trails you'd never know. Several great overlooks and places to relax. A small picnic pavilion and playground near the trailhead for families. Could use some better markings at trail intersections but otherwise...More

It was never crowded and has several different trails. During summer several different type of wild animals can easily been seen.

Moderately challenging trails going up and down hill. Has beautiful foliage and boulder formations. Parking can be difficult on weekends. Very conveniently located for Huntsville and Madison residents.

Love Rainbow Mountain Trails. Balance Rock is a short walk from beginning of trail and is definitely a site to see. Trails are well maintained and it’s a pretty brisk walk if you do the whole trail. Fall is perfect time to walk the trails!...More

These trails in Madison - I guess the highest point in the city limits - are a really nice walk. You can make them nice and easy. Very good views both east toward Huntsville and the rocket or west overlooking Madison.
