My sons class had a field trip here & it was fun. I'm glad we went because it's a nice place for kids. Great for ages up to 8. There is a gift shop that has soda to purchase & there are vending machines around with snacks. Bathrooms were nice & clean.

Good place for young chilldren. There is a enough to do here to keep them from getting bored but not so much that the y get tired before you complete the tour. There are lots of interactive things to do. There are places even for the toddlers to play.

There is plenty for the kids to do! We come from cities with incredible children's museums so we were thrilled to have an option at all when we moved to town. There's blocks, pretend play, music, etc. There's also a small splash pad outside but we haven't been to it yet.

We took our students here for a field trip and it was very enjoyable. There are many things to do for elementary kids to do..

This was one of the most comprehensive, wonderful children's museums ever! My grands had such a great time with all of the exhibits (they're 3 and 7) and the adults were charmed as well. Exhibits were so interesting and informative and we'll definitely be buying a family membership. Recommend this place highly.

Not what we expected at all. Thought it would be more interactive for our toddler but she was bored and just walked through quickly. We did not care for the little areas that looked like mini day care centers which were very dated dirty, dungy and looked out of place. They charge way too much for this place and we... More

EarlyWorks Museum Complex is a fun, hands-on experience for children and parents. Filled with educational information about the history of the state of Alabama. My kids loved it.

This place was a little expensive, $7.00 per child but we'll worth the money. The grandchildren had a blast! They are five and three. I could not get them to leave. I was glad I brought a lunch for us to eat in the picnic area. Then the kids went and played some more. Don't miss the backyard barnyard play... More

Perfect for rainy days, minus getting from the car to the museum, I would suggest ages 4 - 11 depending on the maturity level of your child.... I was overly intrigued at all of the hidden elements as well as written information, to include historical artifacts on one of my favorite people in the world... Helen Keller....

This is a great place for children 2-100. We took our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who instantly became mesmerized by the fish pond. She fished with other children. They all got along. The museum encourages children to touch, listen, build and copy. You won't hear anyone say, "Don't touch that!" There was so much for her to do. As... More
