I love the Christmas lights in December but was unimpressed with the scarecrow trail in fall. The spring is pretty there. The cafeteria is overpriced as is the gift shop. It's an ok family destination.

I visit the Garden often. The gift shop has many unique local artists goods for sale that you can't find elsewhere. The staff is always helpful. The Children's Garden is excellent. The Butterfly House and classrooms located here. There are several annual events that take place for both children and adults. The Children's Garden has a large grassy area where... More

Lots of paved walkways, play areas for kids, open green space, butterfly house is the coolest exhibit, and amazing floral arrangements. It's even getting better with the new additions.

We tried to follow directions to the Botanical gardens, and were sent to the rear construction entrance. Everything was blocked off and under construction! We made a u-turn and went back to what should have been the main entrance, but it was partially blocked as well. There was supposed to be an advertised holiday light show later, but we drove... This is definitely a must!!! The lights are great and simply beautiful. Drive slowly so you can catch every detail. They have walking nights and driving nights. The regular fee is $25 per car. They do have special nights with discounts at $20 per car. If you order tickets ahead you will have an automatic discount.

The Huntsville Botanical Garden is the perfect place for a family outing, regardless of the time of year. There are always interesting exhibits such as the Houses, Hubs, and Habitats and the Scarecrow Trail. The crowning exhibit is the Galaxy of Lights every year at Christmas. I've gone plenty of time over the years, but this is the first Christmas I've gotten to go see the lights. So beautiful and festive. Year round fun for everyone. Great for fun or relaxing. Even romantic at time. 5 stars.
