I wanted a great place to take the family and 6 grandchildren. The grandchildren had a great time and enjoyed the rides as well as the snacks. The whole family was amazed at all the history and they enjoyed the hands on of all the...More

No matter how many times people visit Huntsville, they always want to go to the US Space & Rocket Center! Though many exhibits are stationary and tell the story of our history in space - there are always new exhibits to see. My favorite is...More

We spent almost the whole time the center was open and saw most of what was offered. That being said, we didn't read much since it would take more than a day to go through. We took the bus tour, which my kids found to...More

I have always been a big fan of the space program, especially the Apollo missions to the moon. The museum has lots of artifacts from various US Space programs (including a Saturn V rocket suspended from the ceiling), and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Reasonably priced. Lots of educational information. Good for tweens and teens that are interested in space or rockets. They do have some younger children rides, but I fear that age group wouldn't really enjoy everything else. There's a lot of artifacts with descriptions that are...More

This was a spur of the moment side trip on the drive from Missouri to the Florida Everglades. It was a hit! There were several rockets, jets, some missiles, and the space shuttle. The interactive music exhibit was my grandson's favorite. I wish some of...More

I planned this visit by using my 3yr old's interest in space as an excuse to take the wife, teenage daughter, and family friend's 8yr old son to Huntsville for a short weekend trip. I recommend stopping by the city's visitor center for coupons first...More
