We've been making blue-ribbon-good candy since 1935, and we still make it...

We've been making blue-ribbon-good candy since 1935, and we still make it the old-fashioned way, hand-dipping pecans and candies using family recipes. Only the pick of the harvest makes it into our candies. Watch from our upstairs viewing area as favorites like pralines and pecan brittle are being made. Taste it all at the Free Sampling table. If the car's too full to take it all home, order from our website we'll ship it fresh to your door. Southern Living has named us one of their top food finds. You'll agree when you find our slow-cooked Southern favorites. Our hot buffet served daily, and you can make your own favorite sandwich or salad at our cold bar. Our hot lunch bar is served from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and our cold bar is served from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. Our food area is filled with many delicious items including pickles, syrups, gourmet coffees, salad dressings, jams and jellies. We also have sixteen flavors of ice cream! Browse through our gift shop and find many unique and wonderful gifts. There is something for everyone. Home decor, gardening items, toys, garden flags, greeting cards, baby gifts, t-shirts, and a large array of regional and seasonal gift ideas are always available. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Nice gift store with free pecan samples and viewing room to watch them make candies and pecan pies. Very interesting to "see how it's made." Pecan halves are top notch, large pecans. Sample flavored pecans, roasted pecans, pecan logs, pralines, fudge & more. Large front porch with rocking chairs to just relax. Popular stop at exit 142 off I-65. If... More

Sweet place to stop for a break. They have samples of the pecans and the fudge! Stop in for a few minutes to break up the road trip.

My family and I have been coming here for over 25 years and it's always a wonderful experience! Regardless of whether you're here for lunch or some delicious pecan confectionaries or some beautiful southern knick knacks, you just can't go wrong. Priester's is easy to get to as it's right off I-65 and visible from the interstate. The convenience of... More

This is a nice stop for a break. They have all kinds of pecans, of course, in many flavors like rum. Candies, hot lunch, frozen casseroles, Jams, jellies, honey, and more. Best of all to me is the unusual items, a neat little gift store. I spent an hour just looking at everything. Fun!

Finally stopped after many years driving by! Nice gift shop and anything pecan. Did not eat there but ice cream seemed a popular commodity!

I love stopping at Priester's when driving through Fort Deposit. Not only are the Pecans delicious, they also have a huge variety of tshirts and other knickknacks. Not to mention the dog area outside is huge!

We took a detour here on our way to Panama City Beach, Florida. Priester's Pecans was a nice stop along the way. You can sample all the different pecans and walk through the shop. Upstairs they have a viewing area where you can watch all the pecans treats being made. It was super neat to watch and a definite highlight... More

On a lonely and long stretch of interstate, Priesters is a great respite. You can pick from a buffet of food, or deli type sandwiches and eat there. There are samples of pecans to try, observation to watch the goodies being made, and a nice gift shop. There is also a nice front porch to take a break as well.

My family started stopping here when I was little and we were on our way home from the beach every year. Now 20+ years later we are still stopping and it is still just as great as the first time we stepped inside. Love love love this hidden treasure!!
