Heading South, you'll find "Paiva Beach". Not easily reachable, better go with friends or locals, or both. Palm trees, blue sea and clear waters ... A beach hut sells freshly cooked fish and drinks. Paradise? Not really. The shark attack warnings are also valid for "Paiva Beach". Therefore, bathing and surfing are at your own risk. Anyway, enjoy!…

Bath water, great sand, very quiet and people selling freshly caught prawns! What more could you ask for?

I went to this beach with two friends, it was about 30 minutes in a taxi from Boa Viagem. Itapuama Beach is just after you pass the exit from Paiva. For me it is one of the best beaches in that area! The water is clean, warm and they have little huts where you can get "caipirinhas" Also you can sit under the umbrellas and enjoy the heat!!!
