This is a must visit for anyone who loves the work by Tagore. It ia a nicely mauntained place. A soothing Rabindra Sangeet is constantly played in the background while you go through all the phases of his life and work. This place is amazing

This is the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore and so its history .Its popularly called thakur Bari.Its in the northern part of Kolkata and special programmes are held on the birth and death anniversary of the great poet.

As a Bengali, Rabindranath Tagore's birthplace, Jorasanko Thakurbari, was specially attractive to me. The walls bear the touch of Kabiguru. The serenity and peace of the entire campus is something worth-mentioning.
