The Darjeeling toy train is a UNESCO Heritage and is over 100 years old. It started operations in 1879 with its headquarters in Kurseong. Must pre-book tickets in summer. It takes about 3-3.5 hours from New Jalpaiguri station to Darjeeling.

The ride is extremely slow, but if you don't have the time, you should at least go and see the trains, especially the steam one.
