Quite messy as we visited on a rainy day. No proper clean path to walk on. As it is located on a busy street, it was crowded and noisy. We made a quick darshan and exited.

Devotees of Lord Shiva throng this temple every morning in Mylapore area. There is a temple pond adjacent to it, where festivities are carried out during auspicious occasions. The whole area gets life and energy out of this place.
This only opens at 4:00pm so don't go too early - you have to take your shoes off and it is clean in the temple but getting to the entrance we had to walk through some rather suspicious gunk - take anti bacterial wet wipes...More
Appropriate time to visit this place during evening when you can see the evening rituals. The temple is cleaner compared to other hindu temples i have visited. Exquisite colour combinations of the structures and paintings will mesmerize you surely.

Very good and divine place. In a single premises 10+ temples were there and the good thing is that you can do photography also.
