The temple is just opposite to the besant nagar bus terminus. You would not miss to take a closer look if you'd see him from outside. His magnetic eyes would pull you inside and that's is how I was called by him while I was en-route to the Elliots beach. Do not miss to visit this little temple if you plan... More

This temple is an important landmark in Besant Nagar, Chennai. Every one who enters Besant Nagar either by bus, car or walk or any other mode of transport will have to pass by this temple which majestically stands. Lord Ganesha can be seen from the road itself and many devotees pray from outside itself. This temple was constructed about 40... More

Well, He isn't a secret anymore, but he is known locally as the "Wish Fulfillment Ganesha" and after three years of visiting this place, I totally agree. It's a temple you can see while driving by Besant Nagar Bus Depot, you can see Him without entering too! But get down, and go pay Him a visit. Don't feel shy to... More

The temple is maintained well. The pilliyar is benevolent. It is a reasonably crowded temple. They do conduct Kutcheries, Upanyasams (Kalakshebams) etc. It is just opposite the Besant nagar bus stand

I have been visiting this temple for over twenty five years now. From a humble beginning the temple has grown very big due to the devotees belief, contribution and lord Vinayaka's unbridled grace! Over the years the Gurukkals with all the facilities and collection have grown richer and accumulated immense arrogance.
