Top ways to experience 10 Downing Street and nearby attractions
The area
Address
Neighbourhood: T. Nagar
The bustling shopping district of Chennai, T. Nagar is a junction of packed streets
that attracts locals and tourists alike, especially during the wedding and festive
seasons. Home to multi-storeyed stores selling the most colourful and latest designs
of saris, gold jewellery and narrow lanes with regular everyday shopping bargains especially on Ranganathan Street and Pondy Bazaar, it is one of the liveliest market
places in the city. Just a stroll around the place dotted with street food stalls and
eateries offering traditional South Indian meals is good enough to capture the life at
T. Nagar and you will surely be tempted to buy something that you might not have
planned to. Most of the residential bungalows were built in art-deco style and till
today, have been maintained well on G.N.Chetty Road.

The worst ever disc in the city, Is it a Jail where you are served with drinks but a rule(untold and discret) if you puke you shall have to pay additional.....If any additional charges we could be more than happy for it but they eventually denied serving drinks stating puking is prohibited in BAR😂😂😂😂
I really wonder is it a BAR or private office where you find so many rules and regulations. Disaster management and disgusting people

This place doesn't allow men with shorts.. We wanted to visit but they refused just because my husband was wearing t-shirt and shorts... They have no where mentioned about this rule online.. Only when you visit you get to know. Rude behaviour by staff

I was educated in Chennai and as such have a soft spot for it,but having lived in the UK for the past 15 years,Ivisited it again this year in November.
I had a fabulous time, even though the traffic was a nightmare.
The changes in the place are incredible.everything you want and more is available.
I had the BEST night out at a pub called 10 DOWNING STREET.It's a typical english pub in the middle of Chennai, the decor made me feel at home, tastefully done, wood panelling and deep comfortable sofas.
The food was excellent ,without being expensive, the beer and coctails were great, but the best of all was the ambience. very welcoming.
The owners are always around ,walking about chatting ,and making sure all is running smoothly.
We arrived on a themed nite and it was buzzing. The only pity was, that the local laws prevent it from being open later than 11:30pm.
IT WAS MEMORABLE!! AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MY NEXT TRIP.

10 Downing came highly recommended... and we did start off pretty ok... the indian food was great... chinese food was ok... but I cannot say the same for the alcohol... Heineken tasted weird... not Heineken at all (we found out after that 64 people died the following week due to bootleg alcohol in India)... and we ordered JD by the bottle but when we were given the bill - we were totally SHOCKED! 22,800 RUPEE!!! they charge by the PEG..... one bottle cost USD150!!! when we asked for the manager, he refused to take any responsibility and even threatened to sack the waiter if we did not pay.... BLACKMAIL... I would NEVER step into the place ever again... anyone with ethics shouldn't!

Had been a regular to this place for several years, but never again after today. Booked a table for 8 for their "executive lunch" well in advance. When we showed up on time, we were escorted to a table that could barely seat four. We insisted that they give us another table, they persistently refused. Mighty embarrassing, especially as two of the party were visitors from overseas. Go there if you like food and give two hoots about the service. If service is important to you, avoid like the plague.

Finally 10 Downing Street comes to Mumbai. Located in the BKC, which seems to be the favorite location for so many new restaurants, 10 Downing Street is a cool place to have a good time.
The pub is located on the first floor of Vibgyor Towers.
They have done a good job on the interiors and have some good music, though the service still needs to improve.
On a Wednesday night, when things were not so crowded, the service seemed a tad bit slow.
The food though was quite decent.
For mocktails, we tried the Pubs Special for the night and the blue Angel. Both quite decent.
We had
Black Pepper Mushrooms - Delicious
Crispy Onion Rings - Could have been better. Little Chewy.
Aloo Pudina Angara - Love the potatoes with the mint chutney
Subz Nilgiri Korma - Decent
Dum Biryani - Quite Nice
Overall the place should be visited for the music, ambiance and having a very good time. The food is decent and thats a plus. Location is central and if BKC roads are quite empty at nights. No worries for traffic jams in this monsoon.

Went twice, on arrival at 6.30 (i think) I was told the bar opens at 7, waited while 7 to then be told that I could not go in as it was couples only at night. Anyway, my friend was staying in the hotel (yes its also a small hotel) so we managed to get in and have a few drinks. Service was ok and the place itself has quite a nice typical London Pub feeling to it. Went again a few days later in the late afternoon and had a few more drinks. I would go back and I would also recommend it to others. Nothing amazing but I wasn't looking for that, just a place for a few beers with a mate.

Will be allowed to go ???
Written 8 November 2018
No! You need to be above 21 to enter 10 Downing Street for clubbing, partying or enjoying the nightlife. However, you can go for its noon combos. You will be served (coke/soup) only but not beer.
Written 8 November 2018
Is there a certain age limit to go there and drink for both boys and girls?
Written 19 June 2018
Yes of course... Like any other pub, the minors will not be allowed. Having said that during day time if you are going there as a family, kids will be allowed but that's strictly for lunch time and not later.
Written 19 June 2018
Hi,
There is no entry fee. After 8pm, Dress code is applicable and stags aren't allowed.
