Great For Selfies!!

It is a great, very Indian, very Rajasthani piece of architecture. A shame you can't go inside, but fun to see all the same.

The Palace of Wind is an edifice only. You cannot "go inside" so is therefore a photo-stop only. It is certainly a magnificent edifice and you get a sense of what must have existed hundreds of years ago. I think you really want to go and see the Palace of Wind if only as a photo stop. It is the... More

Most groups literally drive by, take a photo or two and move on. I think a leisurely stroll around the whole area, passing by the Hawa Mahal for a photo or two is probably more rewarding experience.

We were living Jaipur heading New Delhi, and we passed to see Hawa Mahal. As we were late, we didn't have time to enter, we just looked and took pictures. A guy from a jewelry in the other side of the street called us to take pic from the roof top of the building he works. The view was amazing!... More

Just another historic landmark in Jaipur. It was supposed to be filled with blowing air inside; however I felt very hot instead. Located at the main market, it is bit noisy too. However the architecture is great. Also the Nahargarh fort is nicely visible from the balcony.
