We visited the inside one day and came back to visit the outside the next. Although the front (outside) is more iconic, it's fascinating it see where to processed and other women stood to view what was happening in the street.

Palace of wind has such a wonderful story and history but after travelling halfway around the world all you can do is look at the facade, you can’t enter the building. It’s a shame!

We had a good time here at a cafe opposite. There's a shop in the same building named Ellora Arts. They have good and pretty saree including jewelry. Nice place to shop.

Visited with our daughter in Feb 2019, and were amazed at behind the facade courtyards, fountains and beautiful glass work. There is also a Cafe Coffee Day inside. For Indians- ticket prices are Rs 50 for adults and Rs 5 for children below 12.

Located on a crazy busy street, and best seen from across the street so you can absorb the huge and intricate facade. Legend has it that the females of the court sat behind the lacy carvings and viewed life on the streets below, which they...More

In my experience, early morning or late afternoon. The colour of the walls will be different in your photos depending on the position of the sun. Enjoy!
