Made of red and pink sand stone, Jaipur's signature palace of unusual architecture is a stunning example of local artistry. The top of the Hawa Mahal offers an excellent view over the city.

Cool to see and take a photo of but that's about the it. Don't go out of your way. It is more of a façade for looked than anything. Part of the "Pink City".

It is one of the must visit places of Jaipur. It is located in the bustling market area and one can truly experience how the queens must have watched the hustle bustle outside through the many jharokhas of the Hawa mahal. It is open from 9am to 5pm.

Spectacular structure but not very big and best seen from the other side of the road. Only the facade is still standing so no entrance fee but well worth a look and there are lots of tourist shops nearby which are surprisingly hard to find in the Pink City!

So we went there in March, the weather was fine..Hawa Mahal is situated right in the center of the city next to the main markets.. The whole trip to Hawa Mahal should not take more than 1.5hrs..Try to take combine tickets for all the monuments which you can buy from Hawa Mahal ticket counter..

Gorgeous Facade but it really is that. Parking in front of it is restricted from 0830 hrs so one to think about if in a car. Didn't go in so can't comment on that but one of the most beautiful things we saw on our trip.

Hawa Mahal is actually a beautiful structure to be appreciated from outside. It was built to let the women gather, socialize and see the life of the street. It is not a palace as such. The views from the top of Hawa Mahal are great.

The palace is full of small windows or Jharokhas made for the queens and the royal women of the palace to see the processions of the kings and princes. Beautifully kept and clean, there are lot of places good for photo shoots. A must visit for sure
