I visited Jantar Mantar last year. Such a good place and is so scientifically significant. But one should visit with guide. It's quite scientific.

The layout of this ancient observatory is amazing. I have been to the one in Delhi and this one far exceeds it in area and quality. Take your time and read all of the signs. It will blow your mind how they set up all...More

Me and my frnds recently visited jantar mantar it was a nice place to visit. There are different type of measuring instruments situated made from concrete and iron. I found this place adventures as well as you might get some knowledge of time and space.

Good if you're bored and have time. Lots of information placards but they don't seem to explain much. You can spend roughly 30 minutes here.

Taking a guide is must otherwise one wont be able to understand how advanced in astronomy Indians were centuries back. Its a beautiful place too for capturing some lovely pictures but really the history and the science behind is the amazing part.

A cool place for those curious to learn how ancients used to live scientifically! To avoid being visited during summer season when the heat is intolerable as this place is completely uncovered u can easily get tanned and dehydrated ;)

I spent an hour and i took time to ask questions to the guide. and have a little and quiet look around. it is a very nice place indeed. two hours is a lot, then you can rest and look at all instruments in details.

1830 and 1930. The show is 45 min long, though it'd be a good idea to read up about the instruments rather than seek to understand things through just the SNL show.

We're talking India, nothing is that expensive & a guide really does maximize your time & minimize the chance of missing things
