We enjoyed our walking tour of Jaipur with our guide, Katha. We had a great insight into Indian life visiting homes, temples and shops chatting with the locals, learning about the beliefs, the history, medicinal properties of spices and drinking home made chai. Katha answered our countless questions in clearly spoken English and waited patiently whilst we took innumerable photos.... More

Paridhi, our guide, was fantastic. She took us on this Heritage Walk tour of the walled old city, giving us loads of information and showing us the best places. We had some fantastic samosas and the best lassi ever from selected street vendors. She knew the area well and everybody seemed to know her too. I would definitely ask for... More

Archie, our guide, was enthusiastic and informative about the history of the Bazzar in Jaipur, we felt very much at home and through Archie met some interesting locals. We watched many artisans at work and of course made a few purchases!

During our recent trip, we had a couple of heritage walks - one in Jaipur & one in Udaipur. Both of them were informative and the guides friendly & knowledgeable. Had a good time with them showing some of the local way of life and details. The only downside was that the Jaipur walking tour did not match what was... More

We did the morning heritage walk through old city of Jaipur. The walk was a couple of hours through back streets with lots of local color. We saw urban dairy, local temples and learned a lot about the history of Jaipur. There are several different walks and if in the area again we would do another.

We emailed the Virasat team, explaining what we wanted and asking if they could create something for us. They got back to us withing... More

The guided walks at Jodhpur with Viraasat are just they way we would want them to be. Their guidance is non obtrusive and yet completely engaging. Their facilitator, Mr. Tribhuvanji gave us the background to the evolution of the city from the times of the Maharajas to the current political portfolios, differentiating Jodhpur from other States. He was also able... More

We really enjoyed our walking tour of Jaipur. Our guide was Anshu, and she brought alive the past and present. Polite, articulate and easy company. We learned a lot about the history of the buildings and the culture. Thank you, personally although we enjoyed formal tours of monuments etc, this was more fun and "no pressure to buy anything!" Thank... More
