Beautiful temple and idol. Long queues and lots of shops around it. Confusing rituals as south Indians are used to pooja/archane but here they take your flower/coconut offerings and give it right back. Super humid in summer. Amusing to see locals not even breaking into sweat while we were drowning in it.

With great Faith we had visited Shri Siddhivinayak is Mumbai's most visited temple. Many celebrities and people from all the corner of country who visit Mumbai, visit this temple and offer prayers. Hence it is crowded most of the times. Weekend, festival and holidays are busiest days here, we enjoyed great time at the temple surrounding.

There are many beautiful temples in india with mesmerising beauty and architecture.. This temple not like that.. Due to terrorist attacks or may be other security reasons the construction layer on top of this temple is built in a way that the real archaic beauty of the temple is hardly seen.. However, in terms of faith this is considered quite... More

With all the problems of a metro city, Mumbai, the financial capital of India, survives and prospering purely on the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The temple is prabhadevi is worth visiting. I have seen the city prosper in last 40 years. You will also get blesses if you visit with pure mind.

This is one of the very old and ancient temples of Lord Ganesha. It is located at Prabhadevi, near to Dadar. We went on a Sunday and as such much crowd was there. You can go in for Rs.50/= Darshan ticket which is less crowded. Senior citizens also being accommodated in this queue. The queue system is very good. The... More
