Watch out for the helpful friend that like to help you buy a train ticket if you are a tourist. They are likely trying to fool you to purchase their own train ticket or working clothes or contribute to food or help to pay the monthly fee for the children in school. If the person is really helpful there is... More

One of the architectural geniuses of the British. If you are a fan of art and architecture then you would appreciate the Victorian gothic style of architecture and the small nuances that adorn it such as the Lion (representing Britain) and the Tiger (representing India) at the entrance. It has 18 platforms and is the biggest station in India.

Heritage structure earlier called Victoria terminus, now renamed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Most of the trains to southern india starts here. Connect to Dadar for western line.Awesome view at night with light decorations.Always busy and crowded. Thousands of commuters pass through here every minute.

Ita really sad that 75 years of independence and we Indians are unable to upkeeo, upgrade this iconic place constructed by British. Yes we did one action, we changed the name to own it. It's sad that a station that 1 million use everyday has not been develooed an inch by Indian Govt in last 75 years of independent indian... More

You must visit this in Mumbai(Bombay) first & see it in detail inside & outside too & photograph in detail too. Interior views of roofs inside are much more attractive. Video recordings with close ups are highly recommended. This is a master piece of British era architecture.
