Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had I not been with a local, I would never have known. The design, colours and structure were unique. Active and busy. We managed to see locals performing a ritual prayer when we went. You need to take footwear off to enter.

Its a beautiful 100 years + old jain temple on the posh malabar hill area. Its very peaceful and calm inside with beautiful architecture and paiintings. All 24 tirthankars as well as many devi devtas idols are here for the followers to worship. A good place to learn about jain culture and know their rituals. Please abide by the rules of the temple which are written at the place where you remove your footware

Very cultural experience. We saw so many temples, but this was the only one where the priests take a "total" vow of poverty and have no possessions whatsoever, not even clothes.

As a non-religious person, I find religious practices very interesting and the Jain temple is a good stop for that reason for me. The building itself is quite pretty and although its smal, this was a very interesting visit.

This small temple looked delightful from the outside full of colour and I would have loved to have seen inside but unfortunately we were not appropriately dressed. So if you do wish to visit ensure you have the correct clothing with you. From the outside it looked a maze of beautiful architectural styles with the most colourful of statues and ornaments. I understand it is as beautiful inside also so we missed an opportunity here. Also watch out for the busy street outside as this can be a bit dangerous, as with most of the streets in Mumbai.

This was one of the nicest places we've seen in Mumbai. It was really worth quite long taxi & rickshaw ride.
So quiet, peaceful and really amazing. Beautiful carved marbles and maybe alabaster, colourful paintings, statues of deities covered with fresh flowers and just specific atmosphere... Temple in the heart of hectic town is like out of space. You can actually spend there one hour even if the temple is quite small. I would go back there next time to see it in the full daytime light, white stones must look really stunning.

Renowned among Jains for its beauty; given how beautiful Jain temples are, that’s saying a lot. Check out the paintings & dome ceiling I haven't seen anything like it. As this is a small temple, with usually a lot of prayer going on.
