The Babulnath temple is within walking distance from Girgaum Chowpatty, though visitors need to walk (climb) a bit to reach the temple. Alternatively, a lift brings devotees directly to the same level as the temple. The temple has sufficient space at the top for devotees to deposit their footwear. This temple is popular among locals and tourists alike, particularly during... More

This temple is situated on top of a small hill. Located close to the Chowpatty area, it is reasonably popular among devotees. Lift is provided for the elderly which is a big help.

A scenic temple located on hilltop, close to Girguam chowpatty, an ideal location for devotees. Very old temple, with great view, peaceful location surrounded by greenery a location for meditation, etc. A lift makes all devotees to visit the temple, instead of climbing hundreds of stairs is the biggest plus point.

I visited this place on a non - Monday day and hence i didnt find much crowd and got a very nice darshan. Good thing is that they have a lift facility which can be used for a nominal charge of rs. 2. Overall a nice experience.

However, I would recommend the staircase which has appeared in a lot of Indian movies. There was no crowd and could have a peaceful darshan of the deity. Would definitely recommend to... More

It's a very ordinary, albeit super famous temple. If you're pious, this is a must visit. If you;re simply a tourist looking for some good architecture, skip it.
