The sand museum is on the way to Chamundi Hills. It is mostly the work of a young lady supported by her parents. Around twenty sand sculptures dealing with various themes from mythology, to civilization to nature. The scupltures show a lot of detail. Some of the sculptures may need some reworking and retouching. A good initiative. Takes around twenty minutes to go around.

We visited this place on our way back from the chamundi hills.
The charge is about 60/- per person.
There are around 25+ sand sculptures of various things like God's, Wild Animals, Cartoon Characters, Various civilizations etc etc.
There are also some additional attractions like games and 3d selfie gallery.
Overall good for a single visit.

On 11th Sep'22, myself with my hubby & son got to visit Sand Sculpture Museum at Mysuru, it was the passion of M.N. Gowri visualized in the right way.
Entrance tickets costs Rs.60. Though it's a small place, it shouldn't be under estimated. It is India's first sand sculpture Museum, made of using 115 truckloads of seeved construction sand. It has got 16 themes & 150 sculptures.
It has also got few other shops & play area for kids.
Worth visiting once !!

1) How much time would it take to cover this place?
2) Is there sufficient parking space for car?

15 mins at most
you can park by the roadside - no allocated parking, but that isn't a problem, theres plenty of space.
