India is an amazing country with ancient temples and beautiful rural countryside. One of the best things we did was to go and visit this temple! The carvings are extraordinary. The atmosphere is so pure. Highly recommend to any westerner.

Chennakesava temple at Somnathpura is one of the prominent temple of Hoysala architecture apart from Belur and Halebidu. The temple is well maintained by ASI and is a delight for history and architecture enthusiasts.
